After 7 months into the coup the safety and financial situation has deteriorated massively for most but especially for field staff, and Research Executives since their salaries have not allowed for big savings over the past year – where there was already a decline of work and income due to Covid. If these people were the only breadwinner within their family their situation will become very difficult soon as massively reduced wages and even unpaid leave could likely be implemented soon. There is hardly any paid work since over 7 months.  The situation does not look like it could improve any time soon.
